Andrew Schatkin, Author, Speaker, Podcast Host & Philosopher

Do you love to read about and discuss ideas of all sorts—political, economic, philosophical? If so, let's connect!

Andrew J. Schatkin is presently a business and educational consultant, writer, speaker, teacher, and host of the Schatkin Show, a podcast devoted to discussing a range of topics, from religion to current events. He has written two legal treatises: Select Legal Topics, a 650-page legal treatise, and Select Legal Topics, Vol. 2. Additionally, he has written many law review articles, including a 90-page law article on criminal procedure, which appeared in the Syracuse Law Review.

Schatkin is also the author of a number of religious and philosophical books, including Essays on the Christian World View and Essays on Faith, Culture, Politics, and Philosophy, which have been widely sold to both national and international university libraries, including Harvard University, Yale University, the University of Pennsylvania, the American University in Cairo, and universities in Switzerland, Germany, Qatar, Mexico, Canada, and South America. He recently published a fifth book called The Parables of Jesus: A Personal Commentary and has a number of other books in the planning and writing stage.

Schatkin has a JD from the Villanova University Law School; an M.Div. in Biblical and Classical Languages (Greek, Latin, and Hebrew) from Princeton Theological Seminary; and international law certificates from The Hague in the Netherlands and Strasbourg, France. He is the recipient of many awards, including an approval for a Fulbright Scholarship, is listed in several Who’s Whos, and as an international authority by the U.S. Library of Congress.

The most important thing the author wants readers to gain from his books:

What I wish my readers to gain from my books (and speaking presentations) is insights and understanding of what is most important in life—not the acquisition of wealth and money, but viewing their lives as gifts from God in the service of others.

Why the author is an authority on the subject of his books:

I am an authority on the subjects in my books based on the knowledge gained in the course of my studies in Villanova Law School, with the possession of a law degree (JD); and Princeton Theological Seminary, with the possession of a theology degree (M. Div.). I also have a B.A. in classical languages (Greek and Latin) from Hunter College. I have also worked as a Lutheran Pastor. Finally, I possess two international law certificates from Holland (International Law) and Strasbourg, France (International Human Rights.
