The most important thing the author wants readers to gain from her books:
It is my hope that readers will find the courage they need to rise from hardship in their lives and to pursue their dreams and destined purpose. I write books about what I've dealt with in life in an attempt to help others rise from the ashes of failure and other things beyond their control to find and pursue their destiny. I believe that when we come to accept the fact that life isn't always easy and that life throws a lot of curveballs, we are in a greater position to become enlightened and more purposeful. It has been my experience that the greater the adversity, the more valuable the lesson in most cases. I have also found that adapting a more pliable attitude puts us in place to receive more wisdom, understanding and compassion regarding ourselves and each other. This, I believe, is the perspective that precedes the greatest success in life.
Why the author is an authority on the subject of her books:
I have lived it. There has been a lot of pain in my life. And for the longest time I didn't understand why. Now, however, I see the purpose for what I've been through and I want to share it with others not only to help them understand the reasons for adversity but also to gain a perspective that it will work for their good if they allow it to.
