The most important thing the author wants readers to gain from her book:
My e book My First High School Musical: From Auditions to Opening Night and Everything in Between is written for the high school student who wants to explore the world of high school performing arts. Hopefully this simple eBook will lead students to a joyful experience as high school musical performers.
Why the author is an authority on the subject of her book:
I am a current high school musical awards adjudicator in the Upstate New York region. Each year we judge 25-30 high schools leading up to our annual awards ceremony.
Speaking Engagements and School Presentations:
In my presentations I talk to students about the high school musical journey - from auditions, to opening night, and everything in between. I touch on auditions, rehearsal, and show etiquette, working as a group, ensemble participation, creating a fantastic production number, surviving show week, and the commitment needed to participate in musical theater.
The entire presentation focuses on how much fun a musical can be, especially creating wonderful memories and making new friends. The talk focuses on students new to musical theater, but it is also appropriate and informative for the entire cast.
