Rosie J. Pova, Children's Author and Speaker

Have You Booked an Author Visit with "The Inspiration Whisperer" yet?

Rosie J. Pova is a multi-published, award-winning children's author and speaker. She loves visiting schools and sharing her journey from a Bulgarian immigrant to a published author, and inspiring kids to dream big, use their imagination, and treasure stories. Rosie's upcoming book, Sunday Rain, will be released in spring 2020. It's a story that celebrates diversity, the love of books, and new friendships. Visit www.rosiejpova.com to learn more.

The most important thing the author wants readers to gain from her books:

My upcoming book, Sunday Rain, will show kids that even though sometimes you might feel alone or too shy to join a group of kids to play (like the main character who just moved into the neighborhood), new friendships are like a new book—you just plunge into the adventure.

Why the author is an authority on the subject of her books:

I was a shy child and I am still an introvert by nature who spends a lot of time with my imagination. Furthermore, as an immigrant, I know what it feels like to be a newcomer so Sunday Rain is close to my heart.

School Presentations:

I am a multi-published, award-winning children's author and speaker. My school presentations are interactive and educational, but most of all, inspirational. I am passionate about what I do and my mission is to encourage kids to believe in themselves, to unleash their creativity, and to dream big. When I interact with the students, my goal is to provide a memorable experience. We sing, we read, we talk about books, writing, and creativity. We laugh, we act a little silly, and we also proclaim every child a "star" during our "official" You R a Star ceremony. It's exhilarating to see the kids' eyes light up with ideas and possibilities! When I leave that room, I'd like to believe that I left the kids feeling better with at least a kernel or a spark of passion in each one of them about the possibilities. I would be happy to schedule an author visit for your school! I share lots of tips and the "secret" formula the kids can use to achieve success. Author visits are a great way to get students excited about writing and reading, learning about publishing and the making of a children's book, and will also encourage the kids to follow their passions and persist.
