Trina Ryan's Dogs in Training Series: Puppy raiser for service dogs and special needs

In my first novel, Seven Days to Goodbye, thirteen-year-old, Trina, is a puppy raiser for service dogs. On the beach her dog makes a magical connection with Logan, a boy with autism. Logan has two older brothers and the girls meet guys for the first time.

The sequel, Starting Over, continues with a new pup to be trained, a girl with a dysfunctional family, horses, teen issues, and goal setting.

I am involved with PAALS.org and they help me write about service dogs. I taught Special Ed for twenty-five years and use my experience to write my novel series.

I enjoy speaking about service dogs and how they change lives. I teach writing workshops, and do author school visits.
