Donna Sager Cowan, Children’s Author, School Visits, Speaker

I write, speak and present inspiration for the superhero inside us all.

As the youngest child in a large family, Donna Sager Cowan felt lost in the crowd. She entertained herself by making up stories and friends to play with. By age 5, Donna had taught herself to read, and that began her imaginative journey to dreamy castles with princes and fairy godmothers. Donna is a grandmother, random fact-finder, and encourager. And, yes, she believes she’s a superhero. She lives in California with her family and four cats. (Sadly, no mice like Simon.) Follow The Superhero School series at DonnaSagerCowan.com.

The most important thing the author wants readers to gain from her books:

That you have everything you need inside to be extraordinary.

Why the author is an authority on the subject of her books:

Life has knocked me down many times. It tells me I’m not good enough, smart enough, or whatever enough … but every time, I find the will and strength inside myself to proceed. You may not always be able to follow the straight path, and sometimes that’s its own reward. But you can find another way to pursue and achieve anything you can dream. Experience has made me an expert.
