Frances Marie Alvarado-Ng, BS, MSW, is an award-winning author and NYU Silver School of Social Work graduate dedicated to empowering children navigating food allergies and celiac disease.
Following her own life-changing celiac diagnosis, Frances channeled her background in social work and community advocacy into stories that educate, comfort, and inspire. Her debut book, Beyond a Gluten-Free Dream, provides an empathetic roadmap for young readers adapting to dietary diagnoses. In her latest release, Bloomy’s Party: A Celebration Where Everyone Is Welcome (from the Livie Bloom & Friends series), she champions inclusion, resilience, and belonging for kids managing food allergies.
