My education includes a Ph.D. in children's & YA literature/literacy from the Ohio State University (OSU). I'm so proud to have been mentored by both Rudine Sims Bishop and Janet Hickman. It doesn't get any better than that. I've also loved the last 10 years teaching adjunct for OSU and Kent State University. I have the unique experience of having taught from preschool to grad school.
